Moving together with others

Because these are common operations, we have a lot of experience with them.

How does group training work?

It is possible to use the training space or if you have your own training location or gym, that is also possible. It can also be digital if that suits you better. You train in a small group where attention is paid to the execution of your exercises. The physiotherapist has the knowledge to offer you tailor-made exercises for your physical complaints. From experience, we can say that it is more pleasant to train in a group.

What do I need for group training?

You actually don't need anything, but water is handy to take with you. Otherwise, all you need is a good attitude and we'll make sure you can get started. The only thing you can do now is make an appointment with us to start.

Casus

Meet John, a middle-aged man who suffers from chronic neck pain. John, a 45-year-old man, has been dealing with chronic neck pain for several years now. He has tried a variety of methods to alleviate his pain, including over-the-counter pain medication, heat therapy, and even massage therapy, but nothing seems to provide lasting relief. The constant pain is affecting his ability to work and enjoy his hobbies, and he is at a loss for what to do next.

The causes of chronic neck pain can be varied and complex. In some cases, it may be caused by a specific injury or accident, such as a car crash or a fall. In other cases, it may be the result of poor posture or repetitive motions, such as sitting at a desk for long periods of time or performing manual labor. In John's case, the cause of his chronic neck pain is not entirely clear.

Regardless of the cause, chronic neck pain can have a significant impact on a person's quality of life. It can lead to decreased mobility, difficulty sleeping, headaches, and even depression. It can also make it difficult to perform daily activities, such as working, driving, and even simple tasks like cooking and cleaning.

At our physiotherapy clinic, we specialize in treating chronic neck pain. We understand that each person's pain is unique and that a one-size-fits-all approach is not effective. That's why we work with our patients, like John, to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the root cause of their pain, rather than just masking the symptoms.

Our experienced physiotherapists use a combination of manual therapy, exercises, and education to help our patients achieve lasting pain relief and improved function. Manual therapy, such as manipulation, mobilization, and soft tissue massage, can help to alleviate pain and stiffness in the neck. Exercises, such as stretching and strengthening, can help to improve posture and increase mobility. Education on proper posture, body mechanics, and pain management techniques can also play an important role in the recovery process.

Additionally, we may also utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and dry needling for pain relief and muscle relaxation.

In John's case, we would start by conducting a thorough assessment of his condition, taking into account his medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatment he has received. From there, we would work with him to develop a treatment plan that addresses his specific needs and goals. We would also work with him to establish some realistic and measurable outcomes so that we can track his progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan along the way.
